Tanning Salon Sales Associate

We are currently hiring a Front Desk Sales Associate to join our team at a fast-paced tanning salon in the Rockland County area. This is a long-term, year-round opportunity.

About The Position:

This is a sales-driven front desk role in a busy salon environment. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, dependable, confident speaking with customers, and comfortable recommending products, memberships, and tanning services. This is NOT a quiet spa environment. The salon is upbeat, energetic, fast-moving, and customer-focused. We need someone who can multitask, stay organized under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude throughout the shift.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers professionally Educate clients on tanning services, memberships, lotions, and promotions Perform sales transactions and handle cash/credit card payments Maintain salon cleanliness and sanitize tanning equipment Handle laundry, stocking, and general salon organization Open and/or close the salon as scheduled Work independently and as part of a team Help cover shifts when needed

We are hiring for a variety of shifts:

Weekday Availability Needed:

10am-6pm (PRIMARY NEED) 4pm-9pm (Coverage shifts only) 10am-9pm (Occasional coverage only) Weekend availability may occasionally be needed for coverage. Flexibility and reliability are extremely important for this role.

Requirements:

Must live in or near Rockland County, NY or Bergen County, NJ Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable with sales and speaking to customers Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently Looking for a long-term position, not seasonal employment
