Accounts Receivable/Retail Sales Associate

Bedford Gravel and Landscape Supply is a family owned and operated small business successfully serving the area since 1949. We offer a huge selection of landscape and masonry materials serving homeowners and contractors alike. We pride ourselves on providing friendly service and expert advice to help make our customers' projects a success. We're looking for a conscientious, detail oriented individual for an accounts receivable and retail sales position on our team. A successful candidate will be able to communicate clearly, guide customers through the sales process, and assist our bookkeeper as needed. Accounting/Quickbooks experience a plus but not necessary. Work schedule is 7:30am-3:30pm Monday through Friday , and 7:30-12:00 on Saturdays. Paid overtime. Closed Sundays and major holidays. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Reconcile daily transactions and assist our bookkeeper as necessary Processing payments and invoices In person and telephone sales Assisting customers with product selection Help customers calculate material quantities needed Showcasing products for customers outside Customer service General office clerical duties
