Duties Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional hospitality throughout their visit Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for sales transactions Assist guests with product inquiries, upselling items to enhance their experience and increase sales Demo product to showcase featured merchandise or new arrivals Maintain attractive merchandising displays that highlight popular items and promote seasonal themes Restock shelves regularly, ensuring products are organized, clean, and accessible Handle cash, credit card, and gift card transactions accurately while practicing proper cash handling procedures Provide information to guests about zoo exhibits, membership programs, and upcoming events to engage visitors Maintain phone and radio etiquette when answering inquiries or providing assistance remotely Support inventory management by checking in shipments as necessary Necessary Skills Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, discounts, and inventory counts Strong communication skills to engage with diverse visitors effectively Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, energetic attitude Join us in creating an engaging shopping environment that celebrates wildlife while delivering outstanding service!
