Canandaigua is looking for friendly, focused, and knowledgeable product guide for our Main Street location. Serious candidates should be able to maintain an energetic, yet professional demeanor, while creating a curated environment accessible for all levels of cannabis consumers. Ideal candidates should have basic to intermediate understanding of retail procedures, and commonly available cannabis products, including forms of cannabis. Some basic knowledge on common NYS brands, and cannabis industry terms/topics in also a plus. We look for a combination of enthusiasm and expertise to help create a top-notch customer experience; one that offers streamlined access to some of the most exclusive cannabis products in the New York state! Duties Greet customers, check them in/validate ID Act as product concierge; assist customers in selecting products tailored to their needs Clearly communicate product features, effects, and proper usage Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and processing sales accurately; retail product checkout Maintain an organized, accurate merchandising showroom; curate displays with updated products, ensure products are faced neatly on shelves Demonstrate professionalism with phone etiquette when taking orders or answering customer inquiries remotely Experience Prior retail sales experience, preferably in a similar environment; demonstrating strong customer service savvy Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math to handle transactions accurately and efficiently Experience in product demos, merchandising, stocking, and cash handling enhances your ability to excel in this role Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly demeanor to foster positive customer interactions Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn about industry-specific regulations and product details Come join one of the Finger Lakes' premiere cannabis retail stores!
