Full-time Retail Sales Associate

• Full-time We're looking for an applicant with a strong retail , construction materials, or similar.

This candidate must wok well with others, be self motivated and show up when they're scheduled. As customer service associate we rely on you to provide customers with a positive experience. You will be totally responsible for plumbing & outdoor living departments. You'll also be expected to cover other departments, including paint, hardware, tools, fencing building materials if other employees are absent or extra help is needed. Job duties include (but aren't limited to):

• Creating & receiving PO's
• Moving merchandise
• Labeling products
• Answering customer inquiries
• Stocking shelves
• Ordering merchandise
• Creating sales and marketing items
• Loading & unloading trucks and customer vehicles
• All aspects of inventory maintenance
• Assisting customers with anything they need.
• Effectively communicating with team members

Requirements:

• Weekends and minor holidays
• Full time, 40 hours a week.
• Punctuality and reliability

Qualifications Customer service experience in a retail environment, preferably with plumbing or outdoor living products Proficiency with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math; strong cash handling and merchandising abilities Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to upsell and conduct product demos Basic math and organizational skills; ability to stock, label, and merchandise displays Ability to work collaboratively, handle inventory tasks, and support recall/return processes Multitask in a fast-paced setting; basic knowledge of construction or renovation terms is a plus
