Job Description

dopest dough is a fast growing WNY bakery, known for our award-winning bagels and breads, with a growing brick & mortar cafe in East Aurora, a production facility for our baked goods, food truck, and a second retail location coming to downtown Buffalo in the next year. We are seeking dedicated and skilled Culinary Team Members to join our culinary team to craft sandwiches on our handcrafted bagels, breads and more in a passionate, small-team environment. We're hiring a part-time to full-time for our hot foods line (20-35 hours/week to start) to join our East Aurora Cafe . This role includes one shorter prep day during the week and requires Saturday, Sunday, and Monday availability from 6 AM to 2 PM . The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a team member, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with our menu and ensuring that all standards are met. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Pay is based on experience. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures are followed to maintain a clean kitchen environment. Assist in meal preparation and plating for service. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the Store Manager. Participate in menu planning and development as needed. Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils, ensuring they are clean and in good working order. Adhere to dietary guidelines when preparing meals for specific dietary needs. Qualifications Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate! Knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation practices. Experience in meal preparation and menu planning is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a small team. Pay:
