In this role, you will be the friendly face guiding customers through their shopping experience, providing expert product knowledge, and ensuring a clean, organized store that encourages repeat visits. Your energy and communication skills will help create a welcoming atmosphere while promoting our diverse selection of smoking accessories, vaporizers, and related products. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop retail sales expertise in a fast-paced, engaging setting. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on new or popular items Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations Provide excellent customer service by answering questions via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking, merchandising, and inventory counts Promote store promotions and special offers to maximize sales opportunities Experience Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially within a grocery store or specialty shop environment Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and customer engagement Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math principles Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies is advantageous Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining a positive attitude Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering exceptional service while growing your retail career!
