Job Description

Who We Are Black Pearl is a modern bubble tea brand with multiple locations in New York and Connecticut. Our mission is to become the best bubble tea brand and provider in the U.S. through premium drinks, exceptional service, and a strong team culture. We are looking for a long-term Full-Time Store Associate to join our Smith Haven team. This position is ideal for someone who is looking for stability, growth opportunities, and a career rather than just a part-time job. What We Offer Starting pay of $20/hour Average schedule of 35-40 hours per week (5 working days weekly most of the time, occasionally 6 days) Healthcare benefit after 90 days (up to $150/month) 5 PTO days after 12 months, with additional PTO earned through long-term service Performance reviews and pay increases based on performance Great promotion opportunities to management as the company continues to grow Supportive team environment and hands-on training Availability and Commitment Requirements This position is intended for individuals who are able to make Black Pearl their primary work commitment.
Applicants should:
Maintain maximum schedule flexibility. Be available to work weekends and holidays when needed. Be available seven days a week, with the ability to regularly block one weekday or two half-days for recurring personal commitments. Be willing to work varying shifts based on business needs. Be interested in making a long-term commitment and reasonably expect to remain with the company for at least two years. This position is generally not suitable for students and individuals with recurring school schedules, second jobs, or other commitments that limit availability. Responsibilities Prepare drinks and food items accurately and efficiently. Deliver friendly, fast, and professional customer service. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work environment. Follow recipes, procedures, and food safety standards. Support teammates and contribute to a positive work environment. Participate in training and continuous improvement. Help maintain high standards of quality and hospitality. Qualifications Strong communication skills. Positive attitude and teamwork spirit. Reliability and punctuality. Attention to cleanliness and food safety. Customer service mindset. Honesty and integrity. Previous food service, retail, barista, or hospitality experience is helpful but not required. No experience is required. We are willing to train the right person. We are looking for people who take pride in their work, enjoy serving others, and are interested in growing with the company.
