Job Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Store Associate, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create an exceptional shopping experience for every customer. In this lively role, you'll be the friendly face that assists shoppers, manages transactions, and ensures the store remains inviting and well-organized. Your energy and proactive approach will drive sales, promote products, and contribute to a vibrant store environment. Whether guiding customers through product demos or handling day-to-day operations, your positive attitude will make a real difference. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Assist customers with product demos to showcase features and benefits effectively Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves regularly Handle cash, process payments accurately, and perform cash handling duties with integrity Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant items to boost sales Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and supporting inventory management processes Communicate clearly with team members using phone etiquette and teamwork skills to ensure smooth store operations Supervise or assist in supervising new team members or interns as needed in a supervisory capacity Conduct basic retail math calculations for transactions, pricing adjustments, and inventory counts Support grocery store operations if applicable, including product placement and cleanliness standards Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures required Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customers Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills essential for engaging with shoppers effectively Ability to perform basic math calculations related to sales, discounts, and inventory management Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous Knowledge of grocery store operations is beneficial but not mandatory Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining a friendly demeanor Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed Join us in creating a lively shopping environment where every customer feels valued!
