Tom's Pro Bike is seeking energetic, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Seasonal Sales Associates to join our team. As a high-end retail sales employee, you will be the face of our store, assisting customers with their cycling needs and helping them find the perfect products to match their lifestyle. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about cycling and outdoor recreation, and who enjoy a dynamic, customer-focused retail environment.Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Excellence:
Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner, offering personalized advice and assistance to ensure a positive shopping experience.Product Knowledge:
Stay well-informed about the latest cycling products, including high-end bikes, apparel, accessories, and parts. Provide expert advice on product features, benefits, and specifications.Sales & Upselling:
Actively assist customers with product selection, striving to meet sales goals while promoting add-ons and accessories. Upsell high-quality products to enhance the customer's cycling experience.Inventory Management:
Assist with receiving and stocking products, ensuring shelves are properly organized and product displays are visually appealing.Store Maintenance:
Keep the store clean, organized, and well-maintained to ensure an excellent shopping environment.Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth store operations, providing support during peak times.Customer Education:
Educate customers on bike maintenance, fitting, and gear usage, helping them feel confident and knowledgeable about their purchases.Cash Handling:
Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle customer returns or exchanges in a professional manner.Qualifications:
Passion for cycling and outdoor recreation, with a strong knowledge of cycling equipment and accessories (preferred but not required). Prior retail or sales experience in a customer-facing role (preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to engage with customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to lift and move bicycles and other merchandise up to 50 lbs. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. Positive attitude, team player, and a strong work ethic. Why Join Us?
