Summer Counter Help:

Role OverviewPosition Purpose As a member of the front-of-house team, your primary role is to be the face of the business. You will ensure every guest experiences warm, efficient service, whether they are stopping in for a morning coffee, picking up an artisanal lunch, or collecting a catering order.

Key Responsibilities Guest Service & Hospitality:

Greet every customer warmly, take food and beverage orders accurately, and guide guests through our menu options. Point of Sale (POS)

Operation:

Efficiently operate the register, handle cash and credit transactions, and ensure accurate order entry.

Merchandising & Display:

Keep the front counter, pastry cases, and retail shelves fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing throughout the day.

Beverage Preparation:

Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and specialty beverages to standard specifications.

Cleanliness & Sanitation:

Maintain a pristine front-of-house environment. This includes wiping counters, clearing tables, restocking paper goods, and sweeping as needed.

Team Communication:

Work collaboratively with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are completed accurately and handed off seamlessly to guests.

Performance Expectations Punctuality:

Arrive on time, in uniform, and ready to shift into high gear.

Product Knowledge:

Quickly learn our daily offerings, ingredients, and signature items to confidently answer guest questions (and perfectly highlight our scratch-made baked goods).
