Wine & Spirits Sales Associate (Includes Cashier Responsibilities)

Duties:

Greet customers warmly and provide personalized recommendations on wines and spirits Support in-store tastings and promote featured products Operate the POS system for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Accurately handle cash and card payments and balance registers Maintain a fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing sales floor Restock inventory and assist with receiving and putting away deliveries Merchandise products according to store organization and category standards Assist with inventory counts and report low stock, damages, or discrepancies Maintain store cleanliness and presentation through daily upkeep and organization Stay productive during slower periods through cleaning, stocking, and merchandising Maintain professional communication when assisting customers in-store and by phone Occasionally assist with local deliveries

Qualifications:

Working knowledge of wine required (regions, varietals, and styles) Previous retail or wine shop experience preferred Comfortable with cash handling, POS systems, and basic math Strong attention to detail and organization Friendly, professional, and customer-focused demeanor Ability to multitask and remain productive in both busy and slow environments Reliable and punctual Ability to lift and move inventory as needed

Schedule:

Minimum 5 days per week Must be available

Fridays and Saturdays Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
