Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and create a positive, engaging environment for all visitors Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs through personalized recommendations and product demos Maintain a thorough knowledge of our inventory, including new products and promotions Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts Upsell products by highlighting features, benefits, and complementary items to maximize customer satisfaction and store sales Manage merchandising displays, stock levels, and product placement to ensure an attractive shopping environment Provide clear instructions on responsible consumption and adhere to all legal regulations regarding product sale and distribution Skills Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles, preferably within grocery stores or similar environments Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product features clearly and confidently Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities or team support roles Excellent phone etiquette for engaging with customers remotely or over the phone Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for sales and inventory management Experience in merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining an organized retail space Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through training sessions This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about providing outstanding service while promoting responsible use.
