Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude. Educate customers on different strains, products, consumption methods, and effects to help them make informed choices. Conduct product demos and explain features to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction. Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining an organized store layout to ensure an inviting shopping environment. Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash and credit payments responsibly. Upsell relevant products by identifying customer needs and recommending complementary items to maximize sales. Maintain compliance with all state regulations regarding cannabis sales and inventory control. Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling in a retail setting. Supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for team collaboration. Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, inventory counts, and sales reporting. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette for customer inquiries. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices common in grocery or retail stores. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
