A custodian of controlled inventory A front-line compliance officer A professional educator And a trusted guide for Recreational Cannabis in New York State Every guest who enters our doors is stepping into a regulated environment they will have questions about. Some are excited. Some are nervous. Some seek holistic or alternative relief. So your knowledge, your accuracy, and discernment are tools that you will be able to hone and cultivate in this Hands on Environment to your own personal benefit as a consumer in addition to elevating the Gold Leaf Customer Experience. If you are Ever unsure of a Policy, Regulation or feel that a Customer requires additional assistance, please notify the Manager On Duty right away. Duties Assist customers by providing detailed product information, including strain types, effects, and consumption methods Complete Housekeeping Tasks Conduct engaging product demos to educate customers and enhance their shopping experience Manage inventory by stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and ensuring product availability Upsell related products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, handle cash and card payments with professionalism Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers Supervise or mentor new team members, supporting their training in product knowledge and customer service standards Requirements Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or cannabis dispensary setting Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team coordination Strong communication skills in bilingual environments to serve diverse customer needs Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for accurate transactions Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail math principles Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Familiarity with phone etiquette and upselling techniques to enhance customer interactions Join us as a Tender of Buds - Cannasseur and become a vital part of an innovative industry!
