Job Description
Job Overview Retail sales in a family owned small boutique that carries women's clothing, loungewear, home gifts, tabletop, baby clothes and gifts. Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently for transactions including cash handling, credit card processing, and returns. Maintain organized shelves through stocking and merchandising efforts, ensuring products are attractively displayed and inventory levels are accurate. Support e-commerce initiatives by assisting customers with online orders or product inquiries when needed. Packing online orders. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing questions promptly and resolving concerns professionally. Uphold safety standards and cleanliness on the sales floor to create a welcoming shopping environment. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions. Excellent organizational skills for stocking shelves and managing inventory efficiently. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends. A positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills to connect with customers and team members alike. Retail merchandising a plus but not required.
