Budtender/Cashier (CP)

Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic cannabis Budtender/Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers with product selections, providing education about various strains and products, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in the dispensary. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting cannabis products based on their needs and preferences. Educate customers about different strains, consumption methods, and product effects. Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions efficiently, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products through effective merchandising and stocking practices. Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting complementary items. Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. Maintaining a clean and tidy store front. Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Experience in retail sales, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cashiering responsibilities. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management. Ability to upsell products through persuasive communication techniques. Experience with POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Knowledge of merchandising techniques to create appealing product displays.
