Job Description

As a key contributor to Great Lakes Dental Technologies' digital fabrication team, this position is responsible for crafting precision dental sleep appliances that help patients breathe better, sleep more soundly, and improve their overall health. Leveraging CAD software, 3D design workflows, and nylon materials, the digital technician ensures every appliance is built to exact clinical specifications and company standards.

M-F, 7:00 AM - 3:30
PM Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the precise digital fabrication of Herbst sleep appliances with nylon materials in accordance with Great Lakes Dental Technologies procedures and standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following statement reflects the general details considered necessary to describe the principle functions of the job identified and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent to the job. Utilize 3D design principles and industry-standard CAD software to accurately fabricate digital sleep appliances in accordance with prescribed specifications and procedures. Conduct thorough quality control checks on finished Herbst to verify accuracy, fit, and overall product quality. Maintain comprehensive records of each Herbst appliance case, including traceability sheet completion and nylon specifications. Completes assigned processes according to Great Lakes standards and time constraints. Remains current and adheres to all safety and occupational health policies and procedures. Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor. Minimum Requirements to
Hire:
Prior 3D design experience preferred Prior CAD design experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent attention to detail and precision in work. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of dental anatomy, materials, and nylon fabrication techniques preferred. Other skills and
