Job Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Marijuana Budtender to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers in selecting the right cannabis products for their needs. Your expertise in product knowledge and retail sales will be essential in creating a welcoming and informative environment for our clientele. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner. Educate customers on various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, and concentrates. Utilize POS systems for processing transactions efficiently and accurately. Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain a clean and organized display of merchandise through effective merchandising techniques. Stock shelves with new products and ensure inventory is up to date. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and encourage sales. Upsell products by effectively communicating their benefits to customers. Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support. Maintain compliance with all local regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures is essential.
