Garden Center Sales Associate (Experienced, Part-Time)

Full Job Description Canopy of Saratoga is a modern garden center and greenhouse café built by a fourth-generation local family. We focus on high-quality plants, thoughtful merchandising, and creating an engaging customer experience. We're looking for a part-time Garden Center Sales Associate with prior nursery or garden center experience. This role is focused on helping customers, selling plants, and maintaining a strong, organized sales floor. Responsibilities Assist customers with plant selection, care, and project ideas Actively engage customers and guide purchasing decisions Maintain plant quality, organization, and presentation Tag, restock, and organize inventory as needed Assist with moving and loading plant material Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and visually strong Qualifications Previous garden center or nursery experience required Strong knowledge of trees, shrubs, and perennials Confident interacting with customers and making recommendations Sales-oriented and proactive on the floor Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Schedule Part-time position Must be available Fridays and Saturdays Additional hours available during peak season Why Work Here New and growing retail concept in the Saratoga area Unique greenhouse and garden retail environment Small, collaborative team Opportunity to help shape the customer experience
