In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
COMMISSION BASED JOB
Duties Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor through effective merchandising and stocking practices. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Upsell products by effectively communicating promotions and special offers. Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance on customer service best practices. Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment. Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns. Foster a welcoming environment by maintaining high standards of customer service at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions. Familiarity with basic math principles, particularly in relation to retail math and cash handling processes. Experience in merchandising and stocking is advantageous. Ability to demonstrate products confidently through engaging product demos. A proactive attitude towards upselling and enhancing the overall shopping experience for customers.
