The Credit Card Sales Associate (Credit Card Champion) engages customers in needs‑based conversations to promote the Meijer Credit Card while delivering a positive customer experience, accurately communicating benefits, and meeting application goals in compliance with all confidentiality and company standards. Click here for an overview of the position. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in retail sales, customer service, or credit/financial products Experience working with: Sales goals or quotas. Customer engagement or promotions Familiarity with Meijer front‑end operations (Service Desk, SCO, lanes, Electronics) Comfortable coaching or supporting other team members on credit card awareness What You Bring with You (Qualifications): 18 years of age or older. Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually. Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology. Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary. Desire to work with customers. Previous retail or customer experience preferred but not required. Good verbal communication skills. Detail oriented and organized. Friendly outgoing attitude. Ability to operate cashier register system.
