Plant Shop Assistant

Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Shop Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting daily store operations, assisting customers, and ensuring the shop runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop floor and displays Restock shelves and ensure products are properly labeled Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and stock counts Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly Care for our indoor house plants. Requirements Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor Knowledge of indoor house plant care is preferred but not required. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team environment A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable retail experience in a supportive environment.
