As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play an essential role in ensuring a positive experience and the smooth daily operation of our store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a background in hospitality. You will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers, managing laundry and dry cleaning operations, and ensuring cleanliness in the work area. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their laundry and dry cleaning needs. Receive and process incoming garments and items, including calculating costs using basic math skills. Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering practices. Tag and sort dropped-off items accurately. Retrieve and return orders to customers efficiently. Answer incoming phone calls professionally and promptly. Make outgoing phone calls and send text messages to notify customers when orders are ready. Assist with organizing and maintaining inventory. Maintain cleanliness of the counter area and assist with general cleaning duties as needed. Provide information about services offered, including laundry and dry cleaning options. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner. Support other day-to-day tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations throughout the facility. Requirements Dependable, punctual, and professional. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculations. Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures is beneficial. Basic computer or POS system skills are a plus.
