This energetic role combines cashiering duties with engaging sales activities, helping customers find products, demonstrating features, and upselling where appropriate. Whether managing transactions or assisting shoppers on the sales floor, you'll play a vital part in creating a positive and efficient shopping experience for all. Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and efficiently Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries with professionalism Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to ensure attractive product displays and availability Maintain proper cash handling procedures, including balancing registers at shift end Support customers with phone etiquette, answering questions and providing information clearly and courteously Promote store promotions and new products to maximize sales potential while maintaining a friendly attitude Qualifications Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for accurate transactions Experience supervising or leading team members is advantageous but not required Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and inventory management tasks efficiently Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a helpful attitude Join us if you're passionate about retail sales, enjoy engaging with customers, and thrive in a fast-paced environment!
