Duties Greet customers promptly and enthusiastically, providing expert advice on automotive parts and accessories Assist customers in locating parts using inventory management systems and knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures Process sales transactions accurately through POS (Point of Sale) systems, handling cash, credit, and other payment methods with professionalism Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, conducting regular stock checks, and updating CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) records Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely order fulfillment and support automotive repair and service operations Maintain clear communication with customers via phone etiquette, offering product recommendations and answering inquiries in multiple languages if applicable Support marketing efforts by promoting special deals or new product arrivals to enhance retail sales Skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory efficiently using inventory management software Excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair, and service procedures to assist with technical questions Proven negotiation skills to upsell parts and accessories while maintaining customer satisfaction Experience with retail math for accurate pricing, discounts, and profit calculations Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and cashiering best practices Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and reporting purposes Understanding of dealership experience or automotive repair industry standards is a plus Strong phone etiquette skills for engaging with customers over the phone professionally Join us as a Parts Counter Associate and become an essential part of our team dedicated to delivering outstanding automotive solutions! $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
