Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, cash handling, and receipts Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Maintain attractive displays through effective merchandising and stock replenishment Assist with stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and managing stock levels to ensure product availability. Maintaining the store cleanliness is key to a successful business. Handle cashiering duties including processing payments via cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments with professionalism Support the store team by supervising new associates when needed and providing guidance on store procedures Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures in retail or grocery environments Ability to perform retail math accurately for sales calculations, discounts, and inventory counts Excellent communication skills—bilingual abilities are a plus—ensuring clear interactions with customers and team members Skilled in upselling products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options Familiarity with store operations including stocking, inventory management, and product demos Basic math skills necessary for daily retail transactions and inventory tasks Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform basic store maintenance.
