Description
Position Summary:
The Dispensary PRO Lead will supervise Dispensary PRO staff in the daily operations of the dispensary and are responsible for guiding patients through the process of selecting the appropriate medicine for their needs and by providing education of medical cannabis products. The Dispensary PRO Lead is responsible for one-on-one interaction with patients from the time they walk in the store to the time they leave with their purchase and will provide excellent customer service while making the patient feel empowered and confident in their decision.Essential Job Functions:
ü In the absence of the GM, AGM, or ICM will be the primary person responsible for all activities in the dispensary ü Is responsible for accurate transaction reporting to Metrc and OARRS ü Register patients/caregivers into the system using their patient ID card and photo identification used to obtain the card, verify the rmendation and status of the patient ID card with Metrc registry; confirm all required profile fields areplete; check guest into the POS system ü Using OARRS, verify days supply available when checking patient or caregiver in, when rmending a medication to avoid over administering medication, and at check out to make sure they are not being oversold ü Ad to any doctors' notes in the system for dosing, medication type, and administration of medication ü Provide education to patients on product types, uses, and dosage to ensure maximum benefit for their qualifying condition and symptoms ü Confirm medication pulled matches the medication entered into the POS by checking product labels against the patients' cart ü Make certain all labeling requirements arepleted at check out ü Assist patients in person and by phone with inquiries and concerns ü Ads to and educates patients on Ohio laws and regulations as it relates to the Division of Cannabis Control guidelines including methods of consumption and administration ü Assist in daily inventory of cannabis and non-cannabis inventory ü Responsible formunicating any activity or observations that are out of the ordinary. ü Ensurepliance with applicable state and local laws through all stages of the sale of medical cannabis ü Provide support to the General Manager, as requested, to ensure daily operations of the dispensary run smoothly, properly, and inpliance with applicable laws and regulations ü Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA ü Other duties as assigned by your supervisorQualifications:
ü Must be at least 21 years of age ü Must have a high school diploma, or the equivalent ü Must be able to pass all background check requirements and obtain licensing as set forth by the Division of Cannabis Control ü Retail or hospitality experience, preferred ü Must be able to work opening, closing, weekends, and holidays ü Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without an amodation ü Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
