Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Parts Counter Sales Associate, where you'll be the vital link between our customers and the parts they need to keep their machines running smoothly. This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your knowledge, exceptional customer service skills, and sales expertise to deliver outstanding service. You'll assist customers in identifying the right parts, manage inventory, and support the service shop , maintenance and repair processes, all while fostering a positive shopping experience. If you're passionate about customer service and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, this position is perfect for you! Duties Greet customers warmly and determine their parts needs through active listening and effective communication Assist customers in locating parts using inventory management systems, including POS (Point of Sale) and AI. Provide technical advice on maintenance, diagnostics, and repair procedures to ensure customer satisfaction Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and organizing parts for easy access Process sales transactions accurately through cash handling, cashiering, and POS systems while maintaining excellent phone etiquette Collaborate with the service team to facilitate order fulfillment and ensure timely delivery of parts for repairs Maintain organized records of sales, inventory levels, and customer interactions to support dealership operations and marketing efforts Skills Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and automotive repair processes Excellent negotiation skills to upsell products and close sales effectively Proficiency in inventory management software, Microsoft Excel, and retail math for accurate stock control and sales analysis Experience with automotive service departments or dealership environments is highly preferred Exceptional organizational skills to manage stock levels, order fulfillment, and documentation efficiently Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally via phone or in person Familiarity with CMMS systems, POS platforms, retail sales techniques, and marketing strategies to enhance sales performance Basic automotive repair knowledge combined with strong math skills for accurate transactions and inventory calculations Embark on a rewarding career where your enthusiasm for automobiles meets your talent for sales!
