We are looking for go-getters to join our inside sales team on the 1st shift at our Perrysburg, Ohio location !
Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and managing sales transactions efficiently. This role requires strong initiative, the ability to quickly learn product offerings, and proficiency with ERP systems like NetSuite to process orders accurately. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a proactive sales mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Service Provide accurate, timely estimates, quotes, and product recommendations via phone, email, and in-person at the sales counter. Engage customers with a consultative sales approach to identify needs, recommend solutions, and drive additional revenue through upselling and cross-selling. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business. Order Management & Systems Proficiency Process web orders, update sales orders and invoices, and ensure seamless integration with ERP systems such as NetSuite. Maintain a strong understanding of the company's products, services, and operational capabilities to deliver informed solutions to customers. Ensure sales orders are accurate and properly documented before forwarding them to the Service Center or Production Manager. Showroom & Inventory Management Keep the showroom well-maintained and stocked with appropriate inventory. Monitor retail product levels and coordinate with purchasing to ensure availability. Receive in product and utilize RF-Smart for inventory control. Work Environment Maintenance Consistently work toward achieving and exceeding sales goals. Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and customer engagement. Take the initiative to learn market trends, competitive offerings, and customer needs to strengthen sales effectiveness. Compliance Ensure adherence to company procedures, policies, and methods while maintaining a safe and professional work environment. Additional Responsiblities Perform other duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications Required:
3-5 years of related sales experience. Excellent customer service skills Strong problem-solving skills Strong computer skills The position may require attendance and/or management of offsite sales functions Ability to individually lift, pull or drag 75lbs Ability to read a tape measure Physical Requirements Ability to lift, pull, or drag up to 75lbs. Ability to bend, twist, lift, stand, sit, kneel, and perform repetitive movements for up to 8 hours. Ability to climb ladders and work from lifts with no range of motion limitations. Work Environment This is an on-site position with some travel required for conferences, trainings, customer site visits, and business development opportunities. This is an hourly position; overtime hours may be required to meet deadlines and complete time-sensitive tasks. Working on site and full-time are essential functions of the position. This position requires the candidate to pass the drug screen and credit check upon receipt of a conditional job offer.-
