Job Summary:
The Product Support Sales Representative (PSSR) is responsible for driving service and parts sales for Power Systems within an assigned, established geographic territory. This role focuses on developing and maintaining customer relationships to promote repair, maintenance, and support solutions for power generation equipment and industrial engines. The PSSR works proactively with customers to identify service opportunities, support equipment reliability, and achieve sales objectives. As part of a sales team, the PSSR shares the responsibility with other team members to ensure the continued stability and growth of all team members rather than only his/her territory.
What We Are Looking For:
Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical power generation and reciprocating engines. Sustained high energy level. Practical time management skills. Sales results-oriented Strong negotiating skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Provides excellent customer service. Professional image and demeanor. Excellent computer skills
Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred (or related CAT experience). One to three years of electrical and/or mechanical equipment knowledge or related sales experience. Territory knowledge preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
