Overview 2nd Shift Retail Clerk Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Clerk and become the friendly face that enhances the shopping experience for our valued customers! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing sales transactions, and ensuring the store remains organized and inviting. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will help drive sales, promote products, and create a welcoming environment that keeps customers coming back. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, offering product recommendations when appropriate Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for cashiering, including handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy Maintain well-stocked shelves through merchandising, stocking, and inventory management to ensure products are appealing and accessible Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and maintaining professional phone etiquette Support store organization by managing stock levels, organizing displays, and ensuring the store environment is clean and inviting Requirements Previous experience in retail sales, c-stores, or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential Strong communication skills with an ability to connect with customers Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions both in person and over the phone Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as needed
