Sales Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers while driving sales and promoting our products. Must be 21 to apply. Duties Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and support during their shopping experience. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately. Assist in merchandising products to create appealing displays that attract customers. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Maintain well-stocked shelves and assist with inventory management, including stocking and organizing merchandise. Utilize effective upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, leveraging any supervising experience. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with store policies. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone. Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as communication with diverse customers is essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
