Retail Team Member

Overview Join our Vape Shop team as a Retail Team Member and become the friendly face that enhances every customer's shopping experience! In this energetic role, you'll be the go-to person for assisting customers, managing product displays, and ensuring the store runs smoothly. Whether you're engaging with shoppers on the sales floor or handling transactions at the register, your positive energy will drive success and foster lasting relationships. Duties Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and guiding them through product selections. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales. Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to ensure products are well-organized and appealing. Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and managing inventory levels. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Support team supervision by mentoring new staff members and helping coordinate daily store operations. Experience Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key! Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math enhances your effectiveness in this role. Bilingual skills are a valuable asset for communicating with diverse customer groups. Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous. Strong communication skills coupled with a friendly demeanor help build rapport with customers and team members alike. Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities in a fast-paced setting.
