Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Store Clerk to join our team. As a Store Clerk, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the store. This position will entail using your own vehicle to deliver products. You will be reimbursed and likely make extra with tips. When not delivering, you will work in the store.Duties:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Stock shelves and merchandise products
- Provide product information and demonstrate features through product demos
- Assist in inventory management and restocking
- Process sales transactions and handle returns or exchanges
- Promote sales and special promotions to customers
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
- Proficiency in retail math for handling transactions
- Ability to speak English fluently to communicate with diverse customers
- Organizational skills to manage inventory and keep the store tidy
- Sales experience is a plus
