Job Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Clerk, where your energy and enthusiasm will drive exceptional customer experiences! In this vital role, you will be the friendly face of our store, assisting customers with their shopping needs, managing transactions efficiently, and ensuring the sales floor is inviting and well-organized. Whether you're guiding product demos, upselling items, or stocking shelves, your contributions will make a real difference every day! Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of various items Assist with merchandising efforts to ensure products are attractively displayed and well-stocked Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and conducting regular stock checks Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities while meeting customer needs Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone and responding to inquiries promptly Support cashiering duties with basic math skills for accurate register operations and transaction balancing Participate in grocery store, retail, and food service sales activities to promote ongoing sales initiatives Experience Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery, food service or similar retail environments Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures required Strong communication skills essential for engaging with customers and team members alike Experience in merchandising, stocking, and product demos beneficial for success in this role Basic math skills necessary for retail math calculations, cash register operations, and inventory management Join us to be part of a lively retail environment where your proactive attitude and dedication will help us deliver top-notch service!
