In this energetic role, you will serve as a knowledgeable guide for customers seeking quality products, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your knowledge of this amazing plant will be used to help guide first time users, and experienced connoisseurs alike. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help educate customers about product effects, usage, and safety, creating a welcoming environment that encourages trust and loyalty. As a key ambassador for our brand, you'll promote responsible consumption while maintaining compliance with all legal regulations. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs and preferences Provide detailed product demonstrations and educate customers on different strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for sales transactions Keep product menus up to date Create graphics using Canva or Adobe Illustrator for promotional use, either in store, or online Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Help with the intake of new products. This involves stickering product, taking product photos & uploading them, and getting the product properly stored, either in back stock, or on the sales floor. Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory Keeping a clean and sanitary work environment at all times. Conduct regular stock checks, organize product placement, and assist with inventory management Deliver exceptional customer service via in-person interactions and over the phone, demonstrating professional phone etiquette Assist with product demos for new items to educate customers and boost sales performance Support compliance with all state and local regulations regarding cannabis sales and age restrictions Experience Having OMMA Credentials to work in the industry. This is easily obtainable, if not all ready owned, but is a requirement to work in the Oklahoma Cannabis Industry. Experience in the Oklahoma Cannabis Market is preferred, but not a requirement. Knowledgeable in the different forms of cannabis, such as, flower, concentrate (and the different types of concentrates), edibles, extracts, topicals, tinctures, etc. Knowledgeable in the most commonly appearing terpenes, and cannabinoids. Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment with customer-facing responsibilities Knowledge in using Adobe Illustrator, and/or, Canva is a plus. We use these daily to update menus, create graphics for promotional use, as well as many other applications. Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team collaboration abilities Bilingual skills to effectively communicate with diverse customer bases are highly valued Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math to ensure accurate transactions Strong communication skills to explain product details clearly and confidently Experience in merchandising, stocking, and maintaining store displays to create an inviting shopping environment Knowledge of basic math for daily cash reconciliation and inventory counts Knowledge of basic units of cannabis measurements such as, Eighths, Quarters, Halves, and Ounces. (How many grams in each?
