Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients in selecting the right cannabis products for their needs. Your expertise and passion for cannabis will help create a welcoming environment that encourages customer engagement and education. OMMA Credentials are Required! If you are already Credentialed, the hiring process will be quicker... Patient Cards do not count Please include your credential number. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide them with an informative overview of available cannabis products. Assist customers in product selection based on their preferences, needs, and experiences. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about various strains, edibles, and accessories. Upsell products by effectively communicating the benefits of premium items and promotions. Maintain accurate stock levels, ensuring that all products are displayed attractively and organized properly. Handle cash transactions efficiently using a POS system and cash register while ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and compliance regulations to provide informed recommendations to customers. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and inviting retail environment. Skills Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and understand their needs. Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change. Experience in sales or retail environments, with a focus on customer service excellence. Familiarity with retail math concepts to manage inventory effectively. Ability to operate a cash register and POS system proficiently. Knowledge of cannabis products, including strains, effects, and consumption methods is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
