Summary We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team at Bend Pet Express. This part-time position requires weekend availability and involves assisting customers with their pet care needs while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism. Your role will be vital in creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting the right products for their pets, providing knowledgeable recommendations. Perform cash handling duties accurately, including processing transactions and managing the cash register. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and dog wash area to ensure a welcoming environment. Restock shelves and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand. Engage with customers to promote upselling opportunities, enhancing their shopping experience. Communicate effectively with pet owners about services offered and address any inquiries they may have. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory. Ability to work weekends as required by the position.
