As a Budtender, you'll be the face of our store—guiding customers through our curated selection of cannabis products while delivering an exceptional, educational, and welcoming experience. This is a fast-paced, team-driven environment where attention to detail, compliance, and customer connection are key. If you enjoy helping people, staying busy, and learning something new every day, this is a great opportunity to grow within a well-established cannabis retailer. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by understanding individual needs and recommending suitable products based on preferences and experience levels Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh, appealing products Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and recording product movements Upsell products by highlighting new or complementary items to maximize sales opportunities while adhering to responsible selling practices and OLCC compliance Communicate effectively with customers via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and active listening skills What We're Looking For Previous retail or customer service experience (cannabis experience is a plus, but not required) Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in helping customers Ability to multitask and stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced setting Comfortable handling cash and using POS systems Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow Reliable attendance and punctuality Must be 21+ with valid ID and able to pass all OLCC requirements Why Join The Green Planet?
