Full-Time or Part-Time About Root Jewelers Root Jewelers is a locally owned fine jewelry store serving the Rogue Valley with a focus on diamonds, fine jewelry, custom design, and professional repair services. We pride ourselves on honesty, craftsmanship, and building lasting relationships with our clients. Position Overview We are seeking a friendly, reliable Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, values attention to detail, and takes pride in providing an exceptional customer experience. Jewelry experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate with a strong sales or customer service background. Key Responsibilities Provide a welcoming, professional, and consultative sales experience Assist customers with jewelry selection, gift purchases, and special orders Learn and confidently present diamonds, gemstones, and fine jewelry Process sales transactions and maintain accurate records Assist with merchandise presentation and general store upkeep Help with repair intake and customer follow-up Maintain store security standards and handle merchandise responsibly Support team members during busy sales periods and special events Qualifications & Skills Retail or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Detail-oriented and organized Trustworthy and comfortable working with high-value items Ability to learn product knowledge and sales techniques Weekend availability required What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Sales incentives and performance bonuses Health insurance benefits (for eligible employees) Employee discounts on fine jewelry Ongoing training and product education A supportive, team-oriented work environment How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief introduction explaining why you would be a good fit for Root Jewelers.
