This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to educate, assist, and inspire customers while ensuring a welcoming and compliant environment. As a key ambassador of our brand, you'll leverage your retail expertise and passion for wellness to create memorable experiences that keep customers coming back. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help foster a positive community space where education meets exceptional service. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide personalized product recommendations based on their needs and preferences Educate customers about different cannabis products, consumption methods, and effects through engaging product demos Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain accurate stock levels through merchandising, stocking, and inventory management to ensure product availability and presentation standards are met Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Ensure compliance with all local regulations regarding age verification, product labeling, and security procedures Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting remote or phone-in inquiries, providing clear information with professionalism Supervise or assist in supervising team members when needed, fostering a collaborative retail environment Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures in retail or grocery store settings Strong supervising experience or leadership qualities to guide team members effectively Ability to conduct engaging product demos that educate customers about product features and benefits Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales while ensuring customer satisfaction Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail math principles for inventory accuracy and presentation standards Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries via phone or in person professionally Basic math skills necessary for retail math calculations such as change-making and inventory counts Familiarity with grocery store operations or similar retail environments is a plus Join us in creating a vibrant, educational space where customers feel valued and informed!
