As a vital part of our store, you'll provide expert product recommendations, ensure excellent customer service, and promote responsible consumption. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs and preferences Provide detailed product demos and educate customers on different strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts Upsell related products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory Conduct stock checks, inventory management, and restocking to keep the store organized and inviting Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or taking orders remotely Assist with product demos and educate customers on new or featured items to boost engagement Ensure compliance with all legal regulations regarding age verification and responsible sales practices Supervise or assist junior staff members when needed, fostering teamwork and operational efficiency Skills Proven experience with retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles in grocery stores or similar environments Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math for accurate transactions Experience supervising or leading team members is desirable but not mandatory Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for sales and inventory purposes Knowledge of merchandising techniques to create appealing displays that attract customers Excellent phone etiquette for professional remote communication Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer trust Strong organizational skills for stocking, inventory management, and maintaining store cleanliness We are a team with a very low turnover rate. We are looking for someone who works well with others, shows up on time, and has a good sense of time management and work ethic. I am currently looking for someone to fill in some small spots on the schedule, and also cover call outs since we have someone on leave and are short staffed. While training and integrating, the schedule might be hectic at first, as soon as your settled I try to offer consistent schedules for people. While you are training I will most likely just have you here a couple or few days a week but then as you progress you will be able to pick up more shifts. We are open 7 days a week from 7am to 10pm with AM and PM shifts. I prefer all applicants to have atleast one year of budtending experience to fast track training.
