Retail Sales Associate Hamilton Book & Video Outlet Allentown, PA Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $13 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Sales Customer service Basic math Retail math Phone etiquette Full Job Description We are hiring part time store cashiers/clerks within our store Adult Outlet located in Allentown, PA. We are looking for professional candidates that are looking to deliver great customer service. This is a retail position with daily tasks consisting of interacting with customers, stocking, cleaning and any other tasks assigned by the store manager/district manager. Candidates must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time (8hours).
- Greet and assist customers in finding merchandise
- Process sales transactions
- Calculate the cost of products or services
- Accept payments
- Calculate and return change when required by the payment method
- Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change
- Answer customer questions about products or services
- Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts
- Report issues with equipment
- Stocking inventory and organizing retail space
