Sale Associate

Job Summary Reptiland is looking for a retail specialist for our Gift shop. You will be greeting the general public. This person creates the first impression on the visitors who enter the front door. It is his or her job to ensure that visitors are greeted in a friendly manner and given careful instructions as they enter the grounds. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks. Duties Come to work clean, Polished, and in uniform. Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Engage in retail sales activities, and assisting the customer in anyway to make the transaction successful both personally and professionally. Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise on shelves and ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked and visually appealing. Being able to work individually, or with team members. Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or taking messages over the phone. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment. Check list and cleaning check list are completed daily. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales environments is preferred but not mandatory. Already experienced with, or able to learn the POS and make cash transactions. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, and holidays as needed.
