Job Description

COMPETENCIES
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Construction Counter Sales Associate, where you'll be the vital link between customers and our extensive range of building supplies and design solutions. George L. Wilson & Co., the tri-state's number one source for high quality construction equipment and supplies. We have been serving the construction industry in Western PA and West Virginia since 1969. This position is in our Apollo location.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Previous sales or Construction experience Troubleshoot questions from customers Greet customers at counter•helping them understand what they need to complete their job Help with inventory, ordering, counting, stocking shelves Prepare quotes and follow up on submitted quotes Ship and receive UPS packages Computer experience a requirement Maintain a professional/working image in self and work environment Knowledge of construction products a plus A positive attitude Good time management and organization skills Able to read and understand blueprints a plus Construction Management a plus Maintain a friendly, "willing to help" customer service
REPORTS TO
Branch Manager HOURS:
Monday•Friday position 7:00 am•4:00 pm; 40 hours a week.
DEGREE:
