As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers by assisting them with their needs, promoting products, and maintaining an organized store environment. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction. Assist in merchandising efforts by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-stocked and presented attractively. Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels, track sales, and assist with stocking duties. Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, stockroom, and checkout areas. Exhibit strong phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or handling phone orders. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and provide support during busy periods. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
