Job Summary The Neal Eye Group is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Team Member-Optical to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional optical care and other staff support as needed. Responsibilities Assist patients with selecting eyewear, lenses, and accessories, providing expert advice based on their needs and preferences Support the lead optician in various optical duties, such as selling, measuring, ordering and billing glasses Manage patient records accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as Officemate/Examwriter, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Secondary duties will include front desk assistance (answering phones, check in and out patients, pulling insurance benefits and other related duties as needed) and settling medical and routine insurance payments in the Officemate software system Skills Knowledge in optical products and sales is preferred Front desk experience is a plus Knowledge of medical and vision insurance remittances is a bonus, but not required The ability to multitask is essential A "team player" attitude is vital!

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
