Job Description
SM Communications, a Harrisburg sales and business consulting firm, is seeking a full-time Sales Associate to support Verizon FiOS Internet and 5G solutions. The Sales Associate will explain fiber-optic advantages, provide straightforward guidance, and contribute to daily sales. The Sales Associate ensures each customer is informed, supported, and confident, while sales targets stay on track. As a Sales Associate, you'll go through training that strips Verizon FiOS internet and 5G down to what people actually care about: speed, reliability, and not thinking about their internet ever again. Then the Sales Associate will be out in Harrisburg, engaging with customers in-person, helping them upgrade their connectivity. Core Functions of the Sales Associate Connect with customers personally to uncover their Internet and 5G needs, guiding them toward FiOS Internet or 5G Home solutions. Explain the advantages of FiOS fiber‑optic Internet and Verizon 5G using simple comparisons that highlight reliability, speed, and consistency. Customize FiOS Internet or 5G Home recommendations for customers with unique demands, from gamers to remote workers to multi‑device customers. Provide post‑sale support that strengthens each account, answering questions and ensuring customers are confident with their new service. Identify upgrade opportunities that improve connectivity and support long‑term account satisfaction. Use customer feedback to refine sales techniques and align recommendations with Verizon's latest Internet and 5G offerings. Education & Experience Needed for the Sales Associate A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in sales or customer support is a plus. Preferred Skills for the Sales Associate Positive energy that keeps sales conversations welcoming and productive. Strong follow‑through that reassures customers throughout the sales process. Comfort handling objections and turning customer concerns into clear solutions. Skill in turning customer questions into clear explanations that support sales clarity.
