Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Sales Associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a welcoming shopping experience for every customer. In this role, you'll be the friendly face that assists customers with their purchases, provides product information, and ensures smooth transactions at the register. Your proactive approach will drive sales through upselling and product demos, while maintaining an organized and inviting store environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and returns Assist customers with product demos and upselling to enhance their purchase experience Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Handle cashier duties efficiently, including processing transactions and managing cash register operations Provide knowledgeable assistance on store products, including grocery items if applicable, and answer customer inquiries with professionalism Uphold phone etiquette standards when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries Support inventory management through stocking and merchandising tasks to keep the store inviting and well-organized Requirements Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; supervisory experience a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions Experience in grocery stores or retail environments is advantageous Ability to demonstrate products confidently and perform product demos when needed Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional phone etiquette Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting moderate loads, and working flexible hours as required Join us to be part of a lively retail environment where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
